Creating art from unusual materials has always been my thing, so discovering MOZIX felt like a perfect match. Working with tiny shimmering sequins turned out to be a completely new experience. Piece by piece, the portrait started to appear, and the whole process felt calm, rhythmic and surprisingly emotional.
At some moment the image just “clicked” into place, and the face looked almost alive. The depth, the light reflection, the texture — everything came together beautifully, much more impressive than I expected when starting.
This portrait is now one of my favorite works. A unique technique, a tactile result, and a project that truly inspired me from the first sequin to the last.
