FAQ
Everything you need to know about Mozix.
MOZIX is a constructor with both physical and digital parts. The physical part includes modules, a set of “moziks” (sequin discs), a frame, a wall-mounting kit, and a tabletop stand (for S and M sets). The digital part is a web app where you upload an image and generate a pixel assembly guide.
MOZIX is designed, engineered, and produced at our own facility. The kit’s design is protected by patent.
The constructor is based on modules and sequin “Moziks.” Each module has an ^UP^ mark on the front. Place the module with the arrows pointing up. Hold a sequin so the rectangular opening is horizontal relative to the module and press it onto the pin until it clicks. Rotate the sequin vertically. A small insertion tube is included to make placing elements on the pins easier.
Each module has edge connectors. Join the finished modules step by step as shown in the assembly guide. Once the modules form a panel, assemble the frame around the perimeter: insert the corner profiles first, then the straight profile bars.
The kit includes spring hangers, screws/anchors, and a paper template. The template is marked ∧ to indicate the top and is sized to your artwork; the holes match the spring hangers. Turn the artwork face down. Install the spring hangers in the outer top modules, using the central holes inside the inner perimeter frame. Insert one end of the spring into a hole, compress it, and seat the other end in the opposite hole as shown in your instructions. Position wall anchors according to the template holes and hang the artwork.
In the editor you can resize your image, pixelate the upload, choose suitable algorithms, fine-tune with the built-in tools, and generate the assembly guide.
No, mozix.app is a secure web application that runs in your browser—no installation needed. It works well with Chrome and Yandex on desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices. We do not recommend using Safari for the editor.
No. Registration is not required.
Upload your image, choose the optimal settings, and click "SHOW GUIDE". The app will display the assembly guide in your browser.
You can save the assembly page via your browser: select Download guide or, in Yandex, Download assembly guide as PDF. We strongly recommend saving the generated guide to your device.
Our application runs locally on your device, which means we don’t use a remote server to process your project. As a result, you’re not dependent on server load or the stability of your internet connection. For the best experience, we recommend using the following browsers: Google Chrome and Safari.
By default, the assembly guide file is saved to the Files (or Downloads) folder on your device.
For a quick search, type mozix into your device’s search bar.
The downloaded guide will have an HTML extension.
