Getting Started with Mozix
We’ve prepared a series of presentations and step-by-step guides on building and using the Mozix constructor!
Assembly Instructions
The constructor is built from modules and sequin discs (moziks). Each module has a front-facing ^UP^ mark indicating the top edge of the panel.
- Place the module in front of you with the arrows pointing upward.
- Hold a sequin so the oval opening is horizontal relative to the module and press it onto the pin until you hear a click. Rotate the sequin to a vertical position.
- Connect the finished modules step by step as shown in the assembly guide.
- Once the modules are joined into a panel, assemble the frame around the perimeter. Insert the corner profiles first, then add the straight profile bars.
- Set your artwork on the stands included with the XS, S, and M, or hang it on the wall using the hangers included with the S, M, and L sets.
Step-by-step Assembly — S (6+)
MOZIX is a pixel-art kit consisting of physical and digital components.
The physical components include: modules, a set of “moziks” (sequin discs), a frame, a wall-mounting kit, and a tabletop stand (included with S and M kits).
The digital component: pixel web editor, where you can upload an image and generate a pixel assembly guide.
The constructor is available in several configurations that vary by color palette, size, and difficulty.
